Full Automatic 'V' Grooving Line.bmp

FULLY AUTOMATIC LINE
(consisting of the LVG-4SF, EF-1A & CCG-8)

The line is designed so that one operator loads material into the Lineal 'V' Groover at one end and another operator offloads, the completed product ready for assembly at the other end.  With someone else to occasionally fill the hot-melt tanks, you have the capability of creating 3,000 and more casegood products per shift with a manpower cost per unit counted in pennies.

THE WORLD'S FIRST COMPUTERIZED 'V' GROOVING LINE WITH OUR NEW PATENT PENDING SCCO TECHNOLOGY

...... the perfect just-in-time inventory solution.    Do product runs as little as 10 units or less and then change over for the next product by entering the new product code -- the cutters, fences, etc. reposition in less than 10 seconds and the computerized line can reach production levels of over 3,000 units per 8 hour shift. The fully Automatic Line is composed of the LVG-4SF Automatic Lineal 'V Groover, the EF-1A or EF-2A Automatic Edge Folder and Gluer, optionally the DBG Double Groover Re-groover and the CCG-8 Automatic Continuous Cross Groover, all linked together and working in a synchronized mode.

The heart of this system is the CCG family of Cross 'V' Groovers.  These superb machines were developed to give absolute maximum output, while retaining Auto 'V' Groovings well established standards for accuracy, reliability and endurance.  The optional automatic infeed enables these machines to become an integral part of a fully automated line.

Whether you feed the machine manually or automatically, the workpiece is loaded on top of the 5 chucks of a table section and is positioned against the stops.  The table sections form a continuous chain and the drive system assures complete perpendicularity of the cut to the lineal edge.

As the table section moves into the machine, the workpiece is pressed down and passes under the cutter heads and the 'V' grooving is performed.  When the workpiece exits the machine, the chucks are released and the finished parts are lifted off the descending table section by discharge rails.

The standard CCG is equipped with 5 heads, three of which are cutter heads and two are saws, tilted at 45 degrees.

"We have had our 'V' Groover machines in operation for a little over three years now.  We purchased the LVG-4SF Linear, the EF-1A Folder and the CCG-8 Cross Groover.  When we first received our 'V' groover, I had quick lessons on how to run it.  I then hired someone else to take it over.

Our 'V' Groovers have added to our profit margin by way of labor savings and precise finished products"
