Over the last 3 years, our AVG-48, Universal 'V' Groover for Solid Surface Fabricating, has out sold our lineal 'V' groovers by 10 to 1. The Universal 'V' Groover provides you with both lineal and cross 'V' grooving capabilities. Solid surface products are exploding into the commercial markets. To store fixtures, architectural millwork, furniture components, institutional furniture, etc. The AVG-48 allows you to be very price competitive in the traditional markets of countertops, vanities, window sills, etc. And provides you with the tool and complete flexibility to expand into these unlimited markets, where profit margins are higher then in the countertop fields. The AVG-48 allows you to make cuts up to 18" in from the edge of the material all the way around the sheet if needed. The feeder and the automatic taping unit are both special designs that allows you to run different thickness' of materials one right after the other without any adjustments to the machine.

The Universal 'V' Groover, is available in both a computerized version, model AVG-48-CC and a non-computerized version, model AVG-48-UM-FT.

Either model can be fitted with the floating table. In the lineal 'V' grooving operating mode, the floating table allows an operator to make the end cuts with total precision and finger-tip control, eliminating the need of a skilled or experienced operator to hold up to 12' long, heavy piece of solid surface at 90 degrees to the cutter. In the cross 'V' grooving mode, the floating table is locked in position to facilitate the cross 'V' grooving set-up.
