These machines are the most versatile, heavy duty lineal 'V' groovers on the market today. Complex grooves can be cut simultaneously on both sides of the workpiece. In addition, the machine is suitable for trimming both sides of the workpiece and for cutting additional grooves. This lineal 'V' groover is a perfect match to connect to our Edge Folder and Gluer and for the Reciprocating Cross 'V' Groover or as a component in the fully Automatic Line.

The LVG-4SF Lineal 'V' Groover is a heavy-duty production machine designed for continuous full-load operation. The variable speed drive permits synchronization with our other production machines.

The standard machine is designed with four heads (two on each side of the beam). Digital readouts are included for each head to make cut positioning easy and precise. For accurate and quick setting of the groove depths, dial indicators are used. The heads are equipped with air clamping features to secure accurate positions for long production runs. The board is transported by precision ground steel idler rollers. All of these rollers are on the same level throughout the full area. The grooving is performed above aluminum gauge rollers. The feed motion is generated by means of two overhead feeder units. Both the height and position of these feeder units are adjustable.

The machine is available with our Automatic Tape Applicator as an option. For double edge-grooving, one left hand and one right hand Tape Applicator is necessary.
